This simple tee pattern requires knit fabric and a sewing machine. You don't have to have a serger but a sewing machine is a required tool.

Ambition

Recommended Fabric and Fiber Content:

Fabric pieces except neckband: Light to Medium Weight Knit Fabric with a soft drape*. 2 or 4-way stretch**, 35% stretch across grain.

Types: Interlock Jersey, Single Jersey (aka CL), Rib Knit, Waffle Knit, French Terry

Fiber Content: Any as long as the stretch requirements are met

Neckband: 4-way cotton/spandex rib knit for the best results

*Avoid fabrics that are stiff and do not have a soft drape unless you like a boxy fit.

**Use caution when selecting a 4-way stretch fabric as this kind of fabric may stretch length-wise creating a longer shirt. Avoid fabrics that are super stretchy along the grain line.
